I am trying to print documents with
1. Variable Data (85,000+ records)
2. Fixed Data (30 records - associated with items 1, 3, and 4)
3. Street Maps (30 records - associated with items 1, 2, and 4)
4. Signatures (30 records - associated with items 1, 2, and 3)
Each page (85,000+) will contain variable data, fixed data, street map, and
signature

Why do you whant to scan your file, to see every bitmap ?
What is the DO CASE sense, is there different kinds of pictures ?
Finally, what is the program purpose ?
