I'd guess that only a small % of people think of computers as disposable today. That # will grow over time, but for the next few years it's still pretty small.
Setting up an Up-Grade shop where you will keep their old and merge in some new is what a few of my friends want to do. After I tell them they don't need a new PC for 1500.
Services you offer is a BackUp of an older system. Drop in a NIC and burn them a DVD of their old PC except the OS.
One place by me RENTS game centers for parents who are throwing a sleep over. The "cube" - PC in an non standard lexite box has a HD loaded with games, and a DVD / CD player. He ghosts the box as a new configuration is picked by the family. Then on the next load it's closer to what people want to get. When it comes in he fdisks it for anti virus concerns. You also rent a projection system so they can play the games real BIG on a wall.

Of course you are, Jerry, but mom and pop won't pay it. Your car could be worth 20,000, so 60 bucks an hour to repair it is reasonable. But your computer could be worth as little as 300 bucks brand new. I think a lot of people are thinking of computers as disposable now.
