If it was Calvin, it's not uncommon for smart ass remarks to leave his lips. But even so, it was just a question, right? Doesn't mean it's *not* OOP.
If it were me, I've probably been misquoted. It's very likely that someone asked about (for example) the 2Gb limit. Most of that engine code was written ages ago, and is in C. So more than likely I said something like, "what makes you think that section of the VFP code base is OOP?"
