And it never will IMO, for both technical and MS business reasons. ( e.g. why pay a lot more for SQL Server if VFP can work with large data sets? To answer my own question SQL Server still bets VFP in the areas of security, Online backups, multi-user, etc. So even if VFP did break the 2 gig barrier there would be plenty of reasons to still move to SQL server. )
