Oh okay, they own the code... that's fine. I don't in general grant=20 ownership of any code that I write, just a nonexclusive license to utiliz= e=20 it pretty much as they see fit. They pay me for my time, not for ownersh= ip=20 of the code. Of course there are exceptions: trade secret stuff,=20 proprietary stuff, that I'll transfer ownership over. But I probably=20 wouldn't grant ownership over anything that can be utilized in a general=20 manner in lots of projects (framework-level code, for example).
