I sure as (heck) wish I knew. The freeware version of ArgoSoft had a 5Mb
limit on message attachments. I know somebody was trying to send me
something with a big attachment. Best I can tell, every time the client
requested eMail, the server locked up. (I got a new version which has
unlimited attachments.)
All of it is weird, because it had rejected large attachments before. The
thing had been rock-steady. I thought I had been hacked or gotten a virus,
but I couldn't find any traces of either. It is a mystery beyond my
comprehension. IOW, "same old, same old."
