Ken,

Are you using a fire wall or an application like Zone Alarm? The =
products may block certain ports to protect your server.

Malcolm

<snip>
A couple of days ago, I had a few server crashes -- don't know why -- =
some
kind of conflict with my eMail server program.

Everything seems to be up and running -- except eMail. Port 110 is not
responding. (I used 'telnet localhost 110.' I got the response: 'Could =
not
open a connection to host on port 110.')

I have no clue what to do about this. I am busy looking up help files, =
etc.,
but I had hoped someone here might give me a clue what to check.

W2K Server, IIS, WC, what else do you need to know?
</snip>
