<i><font color="#663300">I have just started working on a Codebook 6.0 project. This is my first Codebook project, but I have been using Mere Mortals recently. My first task is going to be fixing the SaviUserMaintenance Form. Apparently, the security does not work very well in 6.0 :-). Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to fix this?</font></i>
All of the SAVI code is unsupported in Codebook 6.0. There was simply too many incompatibilities to get it all to work, and having never used SAVI, I wasn't about to tackle it. The SAVI developer, CT Blankenship, was too busy with job commitments to devote the time to do it.
There have been many people who said that they would look into doing it, but nobody ever followed through. Since Codebook is now Open Source, what we need is someone who will take the time to get the security working, and then post their work to the repository on <a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/codebook/">SourceForge.net</a> for the benefit of all. Think that you might be up to the challenge?
