Not entirely sure of all the reasons, so probably at least a little because I had unhelpful ideas. IMO it's not great only being able to update one table per view, I can see why, but...
Umm, nuisance over buffering, but that's more the fact of buffering rather than views (referring particularly to getting key-id's here)
