<i><font color="#663300">The best place for this would be in the class definition for the cursor that is getting indexed, not in the DE class definition. This way every time that cursor is opened, the indexes are available.

<lol>> Good point. This is code the forum gave me 5 years ago when I first started using Codebook. We don't use prg-based data environment definitions any more. Our data environments are table driven and the indices are defined with the cursor, not the data set. Thanks for pointing that out.
