I've just discovered this user group in the last couple of days. I have the original CodeBook that I bought in 1995, and I have DLed v.6.2, along with the two docs (Definitive Guide and Step by Step). I tried the latter, and working through the simple "Table Maintenance Form: Customer" by installing CodeBook as a folder in "C:Program FilesMicrosoft Visual FoxPro 7DevelopmentCodeBook". Development is where I do all my -- well duh!
So then I followed the instructions under Installing CodeBook and Creating a New Application as closely as I could. When I ran StartCB WITH .T., it gagged on these lines: COMPILE CLASSLIB "PROGRAM FILESMICROSOFT VISUAL FOXPRO 7DEVELOPMENTCODEBOOKCOMMONUTILS*.VCX" COMPILE "PROGRAM FILESMICROSOFT VISUAL FOXPRO 7DEVELOPMENTCODEBOOKCOMMONUTILS*.PRG" COMPILE CLASSLIB LIBS*.VCX COMPILE LIBS*.PRG COMPILE PROGS*.PRG COMPILE DATABASE SECURITYSECURITY.DBC COMPILE DATABASE "DATACARBINE.DBC"
...in each case stating "File not found" Can any dear soul out there give me a little guidance how I might tweak things to make this do what it is supposed to? I'm really interested in learning how the BizObj fits into the scheme of things to see if I can roll it into an app I've been working on (under VFP7) for almost a year.
