Hi Ed
Long time indeed. We can appreciate your works for CB and we can also understand your work pressures. I had mentioned that SourceForge is the future now that you had removed the link to this forum from the your main page. I am sorry to have offended you. In fact I found this forum from your main page the first time round.
But we are feeling lonely here being newbies (I know I have been nitpicking since quite some time on this forum :-)) but trust me we are still learning.
I have tried sourceforge connection but I haven't been able to get it. I tried it your way, the SF way (which got more results for me). But still I cannot WinCVS (keep on giving errors I can't understand). I asked questions everywhere but no response, not everyone is a rocket or Linux scientist. But I do have the basic knowledge and in fact I was one of the guys to access with WinCVS the setup you had allowed us to use.
And I personally feel now that CB is open source there is no harm *if* we all have to move to sourceforge, it does allow us to post messages though differently. But one thing we would all like is your presence anywhere.
With all due respects and sorry if I have offended you.
Sorry to take so long in posting, but it would be a huge understatement to say that I've been busy lately. Between client work and various other projects I'm involved in, I haven't had any time to devote to keeping up with the Forum here.
I read some comments that said implied that I'm somehow trying to slowly phase out this Forum; nothing could be more wrong. I'm just not able to provide the level of support that I've been providing for the past few years. It's my hope that as a community we can all help each other out so that newcomers to the framework can get up to speed as quickly as possible.
I don't have any idea when my current workload will subside, as this is a long-term project, but I will try to keep up with things here whenever possible.
