Hey all,
After I Build an exe, I run it and am confronted by an error message informing me that a program file cannot be found. I go back to the project manager and see that I have this file excluded from the project. The only reason I have this file in the project manager at all is to make it easier to access it. It is not used in the execution of the exe at all. I go back to the project and remove it from the project and rebuild, and get the same error. I then add the program back into the project and include it, and the error changes to another program file. And again the program is only in the project manager for my convenience. I remove that file from the project and rebuild, and the error moves to another program file. I cannot figure out the rhyme or reason for this behavior. Could someone tell me the criteria for the exe to be looking for program files? Is there a meta data table ussue going on? What is the mechanism that the build uses?
