I figured this out... I needed to make sure my network path and my local path were the same and that only the drive letters were different.

<i><font color="#663300">I have an application I'm migrating from a standalone version to a networked (Windows 98 peer to peer) version.

I'm getting the following errors when I start up the application from a workstation

The EXE file is running on the "server pc" and the shared directory from the "server pc" is mapped as drive H on all workstations. Clicking on the Desktop icon link to the EXE (with either full VFP6sp5 or runtime on workstation, I get the following errors:

Error #1 occurred in line 21 of getstring in object oEnvironment
Error #13 occurred in Line 23 of getstring in object oEnvironment
Error #12 occurred in Line 26 of getstring in object oEnvironment
Error #27 occurred in line 34 of show in object cmessage

Then I get:
Error #1 Msg: File 'FORM' does not exist Line: 21 getstring, oMenu
#13 Alias FORM is not found 23 getstring, oMenu
#12 26 getstring, oMenu
#27 Not a numeric expression 34 show, imessage

I'm not sure where to look to resolve these errors. After it gives you the error messages, it goes into the database and everything appears to run normally. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

See next message for discussion of what is happening when I try to run the EXE file from each local PC
