HI Lynette:

Your application should already be multi-user and ready to run on a network.

What you will need to do is share the applications directory on the host computer, on the other workstations map a drive letter (like F:) to the shared directory.

You need to be concerned about is how much data activity there is and the effect it will have on the "host" computer.

I need to make one of my codebook applications work over a peer to peer network. Right now it is standalone. The OS is Windows 98 (currently) and we are considering upgrading to Win 2000 or XP for the machine that will hold the dataset at least.

Are there any good sites that can help me get this working? or does anyone have any advice on how I should proceed?

Right now, I'm in the research mode to determine the best/quickest way to modify this application for shared use over the peer to peer network.

Thanks!
