Ed,
There appears to be a typo in the update url. It is: http://leafe.com/dlfile.fcgi?which=cb/betaupdt.zip and probably should be http://leafe.com/dlfile.cgi?which=cb/betaupdt.zip ?
THanks,
Lynette
Version 6.2 of the Codebook Framework has been officially released. It's now available to be downloaded from the Codebook Download Page on my website. There aren't any major changes from the Release Candidate. You can download the complete framework, as well as an update version that only contains the things that have changed since the first beta.
I've been working on the Step-By-Step guide lately, and have been amazed at just how long it takes to develop something when you have to stop and a) write down everything you've done, and b) explain why you did it that way. It's going to take me a while to finish it, so I thought I'd post the incomplete version for everyone to review. There's lots of new stuff in there to digest. That file is also included for download, and is labeled the "Incomplete Update version".
I'm also very close to having the Codebook project posted as an Open Source project. I've played around with setting this up on my servers, and made a lot of progress along those lines, but then I discovered SourceForge. This is a way cool site that hosts Open Source projects, and provides a lot of other services besides CVS hosting. I just got approval from them to host Codebook there (see http://sourceforge.net/projects/codebook/ for the project site), so over the next week or so I'll be getting that set up, and when it's ready, I'll post information on how to participate in the future development of Codebook.
So stay tuned!
