Hello everyone. I think I set a record for doing the Step by step through the first "Marvel at the power..." point without any errors, and in one sitting from a new start. Next I will do the other forms in the tutorial, but before I go on, I wonder if someone would help me resolve the following question.
I tried to set the currency field (re: the Customer.dbf) to accept amounts greater than 1000.00 and to still show the currency symbol (the $) and the comma. I want to enter something like 10000.00, or 100000.00 and have it show properly ($10,000.00, or $100,000.00). Mind you I still have not gone beyond the step by step instructional except that I tried to format the text box txtCredit with the "99,999.00", but it only allows up to 1,000.00 and it does away with the $ sign upon display. If I enter a value of 100.00 then everything displays OK.
How about some hints! <s> Thank you.
