Hey all,
I am hoping someone 'in the know' can tell me, where in the framework the message 'Driver not capable' is being generated?
I have remote views using the Oracle ODBC driver (the latest version from OTN). I have a wizard form which has a number of memo fields on it. I have child views associated with the parent view (which has all the memo fields on it). After I go through the wizard and click to save(), the error message that the 'Driver not capable', appears.
I click OK.
It then asks me if I want to save the changes. I click yes.
I go to Oracle and check the status of the data, and all of the child tables are updated properly, but the parent table is not updated at all. Sometimes, with fewer fields involved from the wizard, the save does work.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get around this?
I am tracing through the code in the meantime.
