<i><font color="darkgreen">That's certainly possible, although not at all simple. Perhaps if there is anyone out there who has accomplished this in their app who wants to share their strategy. If I could get such a source, I would be glad to try to build something like that.</font></i>

You should take a look at the cursor classes of cDataEnv.prg. The GetDatabasePaths() method of the cDataEnvironment class is probably the place to start. I'm sure you could work something out using the DBPaths table and some sort of dynamically set flag, similar to what is done with the local/remote view switching in cDynamicViewCursor.
