<i><font color="#663300">I think this is a bug in the view designer... it adds tables the the Tables property even if you have no fields in it tagged to be updated.</font></i>
It seems like it only does this if you add the table, and then add one or more fields to the output list. If you add the table, close, re-open, then add the field, you don't get the problem.
