Thanks both of you for the suggesstions. They both were corrected.
The helping hand for a newbie like me came from the builder for iBozObj,
DataEnvironment, Edit DE Cursors. I removed the tick mark for NoDataOnLoad
and things were all a-okay

Just a hunch.
I think you forgot to put this line under each iDynamicViewCursor that you defined in your adataenvironment.
BufferModeOveride = DB_BUFOPTRECORD</font></i>
