It really depends on your needs. COMCodebook is COM based and therefore easier to split into multiple physical tiers. It uses ADO to pass data and provides a class to convert the ADO Record Set to/from Fox cursors. However, don't have to do that. You can bind the UI controls directly to the RS. It's also easier change the UI in CCB. If you need a web interface, you can do it.
I found COMCodebook easier to understand and faster to get up to speed when compared to Codebook. This may not be the same for you as I already had a solid understanding of COM and n-tier development.
