Greetings All,

I just noticed that the library iSecCtl.vcx does not inherit from iContrls.vcx

Users that want secrurity features should be using aSecCtl, but in our case we use both libraries routinely. My plan to *fix* this problem is redefine cSecCtl.vcx as coming from iContrls.vcx.

(1) any one know of a reason NOT to redifine cSecCtl.vcx? CT? Ed? Pamela? Michael? Javed?

(2) an alternative to Savi security is now ready for prime time. I would like to work out the errors and omissions with a small group before making it widely available.

One feature of interest is a delayed logon feature. This may be useful for shared computers where user logon for short time periods and then move about doing their real work. The down side is there are many changes to perform in unhooking and rehooking security. The good news is it works with both cb60 and cb61 applications. No changes to the secure controls or forms required.

If still interested in early testing: james.sayer /at/ oak D.OT doe.gov
I'll drop you a zip file in less than two weeks.
