<i><font color="#663300">Calling the release method of a form from within a method of the form DOES NOT RELEASE the form! At least, not at the point where the release method is called. I really can't believe this is true, but I just tested it.

Should have thought of this before, but I guess better late...
This happened to me just last week when I opened an old app that I hadn't used in a while. At first I was shocked. Then I did what I always do when something strange happens in CB.
1) pack the vcxs.
2) run startcb with .t.
Problem solved. This can be a pain if you've got VSS working, but it seems to be the answer.
