What is the value of Thisform.oBizobj.Name? Is it the parent bizobj, as expected? Did you set lPrimaryBizobj to .T. for the main bizobj? If not, the last bizobj instantiated is designated as the primary bizobj. BTW, are you setting these properties for your bizobjs by hand? If you are, you should really use the builder for your bizobjs - it makes getting the settings straight so much easier. </FONT></I> The answer to all is, yes. I love the builders, and am looking forward to making one of my own, soon. =) Pam put me onto the builders, and it has really been a great help, along with tracing and setting breakpoints, skills I can use for a number of software applications. (Thanks)
The THISFORM.BIZOBJ.NAME was the parent as expected. lPrimarybizobj = .T. for the parent bizobj.
So, I just recreated the form, putting the child bizobj on first, and the parent last. I imagine that this will also be the case for multiple children, as long as the parent goes on after the children.
I started a new thread "add a page frame", to continue this (for those who will follow me in the quest to climb the framework learning curve).
