I am going to continue this thread. I know it is old, but my problem is along the same lines. I have "manually" built my menu, and after a few simple problems to overcome, I am getting an error when I am launching my first form from the menu. I have followed all of the threads with regard to this process and am stumped at how to eliminate this error. First, I have added children to the Window popup. I am not sure if this is the cause of the problem, but just so you know. Second, when I run the project, and select the bar that 'does' my form, I get an error stating that "menu item positionmust be a positive number". After debugging a bit, I found that it is due to the Define() of the oWindowbar. pactsapp.omenu.owindowpad.owindowpopup.owindowpad22514.define where tnBarnumber and lnBarnumber = -22514 and the line of code it bombs on is the &lcDefine line.
I tried to run the form manually from the command window, and after =startcb, setting proc and classlib and then = doform, I get "class definition iRegistryCollection is not found". icollection is within the path, but it is not finding it. I am stumped right now as to what the problem is with the window popup, and why the icollection is not being found. I hope they are not distinct problems, but let me know if anyone has an answer to this dilemna of mine.

Never mind, the windows popup needed a separator bar at the bottom, now it works fine. Now I just have to work oput why the form is not doing what I want it to do. =) What else is new? Devman mdevlin /AT/ ajdebruin .D.OT com
