ok. The problems:
When starting the beta version 'from scratch', the resultant project does not contain cvalid.vcx or ivalid.vcx. If added manually, most problems disappeared.
the second issue is that when using menu classes rather than the native foxpro .mpr menu, you need to also manually add csecure.vcx and isecure.vcx to the project.
Once this is done the errors disappear.
ref error problems:
1. need to add screenactiveform.prg to the project
2. the error is occurring in the INSERT....VALUE part of the errormanager (logerror() )
append blank and then replace for each item, it has saved but I still need to identify the exact line - next 24hours with luck. certainly all the array items appear to be of the correct type.
