<i><font COLOR="#663300">well after further looking at detail, somehow the new install is picking up references to classes in my current development app. To test the Beta version I did a separate install of the basic stuff only (none of my own stuff). When I look at e.g aapp.vcx the class path references my stuff. So I removed everything from a separate machine and reinstalled but the problem is still there. I can only think that something in .ini files or registry is causing this problem so short of reformatting a hard drive and really going back to square one does anyone have any suggestions. I guess this one might be for ed!</font></i>
Check your pathing - i.e., do <b>StartCB</b> and then see what <code>SET("PATH")</code> returns. Sounds like somehow your project is opening the wrong file, which is usually a problem with pathing.
Did you create a new application, or did you move an existing one into your CB61 test directory?
