Ah, yes. The DB format change: VarCHar uses 2 bytes less. This
probably means that they are rewritten.
But the issue remains: what can be causing these corruptions. I
suspect it is something in my code. After all, I had no problems for
the last 6 months and only after the last changes (admitedly quite
substantial) there is some issue. And the corruption occurs without
any crash. Just normal usage.
