All sounds great! I would highly recommend realizing the idea of an open
protocol over sockets.
For starters, you could use it with REALBasic, Java, Metacard, PHP and Perl
*without* any Valentina add-ons on client side, since all those environments
can already use sockets.

Plus, those scripts may be easier to maintain than V4RB, VXCMD, etc in the
long run.

I could probably write most of a VXCMD replacement in 10 lines of Metatalk if
there was a simple protocol to execute an SQL query. Cool!
