You have to enable the messagewindow. Copy the Director.ini-file from your
Director-folder into the folder of your Projector. Rename it to
<ProjectorName>.ini. Open the file in a texteditor and remove the trailing
semicolons from the following lines:
FullScreen=1
UseTitleBar=1
MessageWindow=1
MessageWindowRect=0 20 400 300
If you are using Director >= 8.5 then you have to enable the messagewindow
via lingo, too:
In the startmovie-handler, insert the following line:
the debugPlaybackEnabled = true
