Very simple.
You need call these 2 functions of Vdatabase Xtra.
"GetBaseObjectRef object me, any boIndexOrName
-- Returns reference of BaseObject by its name or index.\n"
"GetFieldRef object me, integer boRef, any fldNameOrIndex
-- Returns reference of a BaseObject field.\n"
I.e. At first you get BoRef for you BaseObject
Then you get fldRef
