Yes, this was exactly what I was thinking of. If I need to present data in a visually acceptable format for my users, I have to use Filemaker. If I could put a cocoa front end on VAPP using AS-Studio and use AppleScript for the IAC (mainly controlling Adobe Illustrator) it would give me a much better alternative.
