>Warning - ranting ahead...
[snipped well-reasoned argument]
I must be going blind. I couldn't see any ranting. Could someone please point it out to me?
Microsoft: the last word in product support
As in "I couldn't get any support from those %$#$^$%^ at Microsoft!"
As always, Microsoft is free to make me wrong and I encourage them to take up the challenge. You've been overly concerned about my feelings and it's really unnecessary. I can handle wallowing in self-pity over being wrong about Microsoft's shortly-to-be-superior product support. I can even see apologizing and totally abasing myself over the issue. Sackcloth and ashes aren't inconceivable either.
I'm looking forward to:
1) the patch to VFP 5 SP 3 so that set printer font will work again (just as VFP 5 SP 2 worked). Take a look at the old code. You know, the stuff you broke.
2) Row change parms for the BeforeRowColChange and AfterRowColChange events.
3) The oodles of other improvements that will show how Microsoft product support isn't just a bunch of glitz about the latest wow.
Sincerely,
