To start, I would like to go ahead and try the VXCMD. That will enable Valentina to be used in the Windows Lisp environment just by porting the dispatch external function.
I have my first stab at this complete with LispWorks on Windows. But I'm not having any luck determining what entry point I should call in the DLL. I looked at the DLL with SystemView.exe. I did not see anything like "dispatch" or "valentina". The only entry point that seemed to deal with XCMD was "getXtable".
A question: In the XCMD command block on Windows, are the "Handle" items truly like Mac handles (that is, a pointer to a pointer)? Or are they simply string pointers?
