I just realized that the problems started when I upgraded from 1.8.8 to
1.8.9. In 1.8.8, the SQLSelect always worked on all machines. I find myself
wondering if there was a coding change or a memory issue that surfaced in
1.8.9.
The only change I know was in the declaration of the database for Vstring to
change from -1 to ASCII.
Could this explain why a simple search works 5 or 6 times and then the same
search fails on the 7th try?
